Rock of Love Charm School with Sharon Osbourne

Coming Soon!! :-)
A full report on my appearance on (& filming of) Rock of Love Charm School with Sharon Osbourne.
My episode (episode 5) aired on the VH1 channel on Sunday, November 9th, 2008 (and an additional 23 times during the following week!)

The episode featured a visit from Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Birmingshire, Paige Ervincrow Harrington. The Duchess enjoyed dinner, a cup of tea and a dessert of 'Spotted Dick' with the Charm School girls. The girls had no idea "The Duchess" was actually an actress!! (Played by Patricia Place, who unfortunately died on September 20th, 2008).

I played "Chief of Staff" and personal assistant to the Duchess. I informed the girls of the rules, regulations and protocol to be observed when in the presence a Duchess!!
I was referred to as "not-Gervais" on the VH1 Charm School blog!! :-)

My First Blog!!

Hello :-)
This is new to me. Not sure how it all works yet!
I am wondering if anyone is ever actually going to read this? :-)
I'm sure there must be a counter on here somewhere to tell me how many of you actually do read my 'ramblings' - if any at all! :-)
This will be a very short blog this morning. It is after 6:00am and I haven't been to sleep yet!!
NO work tomorrow! :-(
I am currently a 'starving actor' - an overweight one at that! :-)
You may have noticed already that I LOVE to use excamation marks/points and 'smiley faces' :-)
I am NOT a writer!! :-)
Well, I AM writing now but what I mean is I am not a good writer.
I DO love to write though, no matter how bad it is. I usually write in the form of long, rambling emails to my mother and friends. I go in to way too much detail!

About ME! :-)

I'll make a start and hopefully come back in the very near future to continue ........

My name is Michael Patrick Breen (Surprise! Surprise!)
I was born on April 14th, 1961 in Edgeware General Hospital in Middlesex (Northwest London), England.

My father is Synie Breen (christened Senan Flannen Breen). Born in Ballyknock, Kilnamona, (near Ennis), in County Clare.

My Mother is Cecily Breen (christened Cecilia Bernadette Tresnan). Born in the City of London.

All four of my grandparents were born in Ireland.
Michael Breen, born Kiltumper, Kilmihil, County Clare.
Annie O'Keefe (Breen), born Ballyknock, Kilnamona, County Clare.
Patrick Tresnan, born Curragh, Gurteen, County Sligo.
Nora Duffy (Tresnan), born Derradda, Newport, County Mayo.

I have one brother, Patrick Joseph Breen.
His partner's name is Rosaleen McNea.
They have one daughter, Eleanor Celia Breen.

When in England we lived at 126 Hindes Road, Harrow, Middlesex - until I was about 2 years old I believe. Then we moved to 17 Dukes Avenue, also in Harrow.

My father worked in construction / "on the buildings", as a floor screeder.
My mother worked for Lloyds Bank, first in the Harrow branch, and was later promoted to Head Office in the City of London.

My brother and I attended Alpha Preparatory School in Harrow (Private).
I went on to the Salvatorian College Grammar School in Harrow Weald.

My family moved to Ireland in 1975. I stayed on in England until 1977. I stayed with my paternal grandparents, for a while, but persuaded them to let me move back to my family home, which was just around the corner. I had my own room in the house which was 'let out' to 'renters' - the three upstairs bedrooms were rented and everyone shared the remainder of the house. There were numerous renters over the two years I lived there. I have some very interesting stories to tell. Check back later to read all the wacky 'goings on' that took place!! :-)

Hey! Maybe I should be writing this in a book?! It might turn out to be a best seller!
Oh well! I'm sure I can sell it to the highest bidder when I am rich and famous. People will read any old junk if you are rich and famous enough! ha ha

Anyway, I moved to Ireland on August 2nd (I think?), 1977.

OK!
I need to get some sleep!!
Check back and see when and IF I write more :-)
You can probably subscribe to this blog. I am still learning :-)

Bye for Now,

MPB :-)
Well, SpellCheck is not working for me. I hope I didn't make too many spelling mesteaks!! I am too tired to go back and re-read! :-)
